Victorian High Tea
"500 Years of Handmade Lace"

This year's Victorian High Tea will feature "500" Years of Hand Made Lace, presented by Erma Osterman.  Ms. Osterman is a lace enthusiast who has taught beautiful handmade laces since 1983.  She has lectured nationally and published 2 books on handmade laces. She has studied in the United States, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Holland, Finland, and France.  She will bring samples from the 17th to the 19th Century and encourages anyone wanting to identify their own pieces of special lace to bring them to the tea.

The tea will also feature authentic English savories and sweets this year and recipes packets will be available for sale at the tea. Sissy's Log Cabin will also be present with their beautiful period jewelry.

The tea will be Sunday, September 24th, at The Empress of Little Rock Small
Luxury Hotel and Bed and Breakfast, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Tickets
will be $35.  Seating is limited so purchase your tickets early.
