The Eliza Suite is a tribute to Eliza Cunningham, a woman whose life and legacy are woven into the earliest chapters of Little Rock’s story. Arriving in the frontier settlement in the early 19th century, Eliza became the city’s first First Lady and a quiet architect of its civic and social life. Within her home, early leaders gathered, families were raised, and the foundations of a growing city took shape.

Light and graceful in spirit, the suite reflects the promise and tenderness of those formative years. A French walnut queen bedstead rests beneath soaring 14-foot ceilings, surrounded by dark oak antiques and a soft palette of rose and violet. Natural light moves gently through the room, creating an atmosphere that feels hopeful, intimate, and serene.

The private bath features a pedestal sink and a Pullman bath with shower, adorned with seashells that recall Victorian summers by the sea. Together, the details evoke a sense of refinement and romance, honoring a woman whose strength and warmth helped transform a fledgling settlement into a lasting home.

"I was surprised by my husband with this little piece of heaven for my birthday and Valenetine's Day. This is an era that I love to research and explore. The house was beautiful. All of the details brought my little joys to life. I can't wait to return to another beautiful room. We made memories that I will hold for the rest of our lives."
