Named for Legend of Petit Jean, the young French girl who couldn’t bear to see her love sail away to the new world. She sailed unbeknownst to him, as the cabin boy, and was undiscovered until sickness claimed her life on the banks of the Arkansas River.  Filled with relics of military and sea regimen, the Petit Jean room reflects the strength required to leave the family for a world unknown and the softness of the love that inspired the courage.

Done in dark walnut, the ornately carved high backed Empire queen bed is in striking contrast to the romantic blues and whites of the sitting area and the room-side marble sink and Pullman bath with shower.
